The Friends of Lorne committee meets about 8 times a year. Members are welcome to attend. Contact us for dates at committee@friendsoflorne.org.au. In addition we hold special general meetings and annual general meetings for all members. Minutes of previous meetings are below. We also hold events or special meetings on particular topics, such as our housing webinars and events focussed on citizen science.
A Special General Meeting was held on Monday 29 September 2025 at 5pm by Zoom to consider a special resolution to alter the rules about the way we conduct our AGM. The proposed way to conduct the AGM is here in Appendix A.

Specifically, we passed the Special Resolution to “amend the Friends of Lorne constitution to specify steps in the process of calling for nominations for Office Bearers and the Committee in advance of the AGM and for conducting the elections at the AGM as shown in the Appendix B” The minutes of the meeting are here.
